excited in the minutia

long ago when i lived in denver i would take great pleasure in the act of getting my gear ready to go snowboarding. at least an hour of “take this, get that, i might need those, gotta take that”

i’ve just figured out i have the exact same excitement when i lay out all the gear i need for a photo shoot. my living room is currently a mess with all manner of black cords, stands, umbrellas, bags, tool boxes, more wires, zip lock baggies with connectors and such.

i wish i had a sherpa to help me carry all this shit.
